LAGOS STREET SOCCER CUP

The Lagos Street Soccer Cup marks the re-birth of the Lagos Street Soccer Championship, with the LSFA fully committed to engaging every corner of Lagos State.

In this tournament, teams are affiliated with residential streets, creating a community-focused competition.

This 5-a-side (futsal) tournament caters to male, female, and U15 boys and girls categories.

Since its debut in 2008, it has achieved remarkable success, with over 1,000 street teams from across Lagos participating.

Each edition culminates in a foreign playing tour for the champions, with past destinations including Dubai, South Africa, and Ghana.

The tournament has also been a springboard for players who have progressed to various club sides and, notably, the national Beach Soccer squad.

The fanfare and excitement surrounding this tournament surpass those of other similar events, reaching deep into the grassroots of Lagos football.
